Respite Care
Respite care supports the care relationship by providing carers with a break from their caring responsibilities. They also provide an opportunity for the person being cared for to have a break, or to have an outing without their usual carer.
Respite care allows the carer to "take a break", while knowing that the person they care for is being looked after. A range of respite options are available either in your own home, within the community or within a residential care setting.
To access Residential respite or a home care package an Aged Care Assessment is required. Click here to see contact details.
